Polling Booth

Just thought i would upload another image of them but with the improved stand for the ballot box and the finished mind maps on the back of the booths.

Show piece

Had to build another polling booth for my end of year show, still do not like this project but it is coming along better than it was. Shall upload some better photos later but you get the idea.

Pradoe Church

Nice little church in the middle of no where which is opened 24hours a week and year around. They only host a couple of services a year so it is pretty dusty and abandoned inside.

Leaves

One of many photos i took up the Wrekin today. This one is my favorite as you can see all the structure in the leaves, which i think looks great.

Abandon

This was just some cool random tube storage trailer we found down this long abandon road, which im surprised the car got down. Anyway i thought it looked really cool and loved the industrial look of it in contrasted to the environment we found it in. Also how abandon the object seemed when we found it. Made me feel more sad for the piece of machinery and kinda links into our throw away world in my head.

Further down the road was just abandon area with this old chair with no seat and a outdoor cooker.

Question for polling booth

Some of the letters came out quite clear which i was happy with but overal it was quite poor. Need to use stencil paper or some plastic sheet i used last time i did this. Also i need to put another 'to' into the the question and it alot bigger.

Estate

I was doing some long exposures out of my bedroom window towards the council estate behind my garden and these hit me. I really adore the colours and lighting involved in these pictures. I have not edited them in anyway and just love them. I like how the suns reflection dripples in one of them where i must of knocked the camera or something but i personally think adds character to the image.

Ballot Box Handle Solution

I had an issue with the original handle being really bright blue, so i needed an alternative. So i simply just wrapped it in some gum tape and here we are. I am actually really happy with it as it fits in so well and the handle still has all its functions still.

Ballot Box

So here is the ballot box I have made with a hand shredder in it. I think I need to cover the plastic handle with something or at least paint it black to make it look more official. Maybe put a weight in the bottom of the box so it does not go flying when someone turns the handle or something, What do you people think?

Pattern

I was trying to make a pattern and came up with this. Not overlay happy with this however i think i have got some ideas from it.

8th June Evening

Driving Home. Surprised it came up as well as it did as we were bombing it down the road and just took it out of accident.
This Garage is down my road, i have been adoring it for many years now. I just love how it folding in on itself slowly as it decays with time with the rest of the garden and house.
Seat Beat, I donot really know but i found this really beautiful = )

The Lady

Just two images of 'The Lady' and a flower. The texture of the flower was lovely and so red, so i decided to overlay it onto this other image. Really happy with the effect created by it.

Let Me Sleep

I was just deconstructing an image then just started building up lines and ended up with this person. This chin/face really annoys me though as it is like a giant U and not rough enough for me. I think he looks like some French Imperial solider. I like him alot but shall do some more tomorrow but maybe do it with my left so the result is less predictable.

I like this the one the best due to the outside has more space, so i could have one side with the question then other surfaces covered in facts and recorded discussions.

Book Cover Idea


I dont like this idea however the idea of your fake vote is actually writing the inside of the booth like a book is kinda cool.

Polling Booth Construction

I really like the grid structure that i put inside the shelf of the booth. I did this to give it more strength for the shelf but also as a cross bar to give the booth strength, but also to enable people to write on it.


I am unsure if i want to paint this black or just leave it plain and draw on with sharpies. = /

Wall Drawings
