Fine Art - Responding to sounds

This was created in an art gallery visit where we had to find a space and then listen to the sounds. Most people drew the sounds however i decided to do something 3d and created these three piece of work. Instead of doing how they sounded i created them from how the sound made me feel
This was an response to people talking, as it made me think human interaction is one the key things for life, so it made me whole = D. Sounds like some advert for a mobile phone advert = )
This was responding to some interactive displays with children, friends and families on which made me feel happy, warm and in bodied.
And this one was responding to a really annoying sound that kept occurring and would not stop at all hence for the seemingly endless wrapping of wire.

Yeti Visuals

Im really pleased with how these yeti with picture infills are turning out, this idea was suggested by a teacher at college. I really like the frost one which is really nice as it gives the sense of fur through the moment of the frost. This makes me think that maybe the edges of the 'yetis' should be more rough and fur like.
I am going to try this out with more abstract bit of photography but also different textures as it could have a really nice out come.

Yeti Attack - H&M, Quantum Leap (sculpture near council offices)

This yeti is placed on the staff entrance to H&M shrewsbury, on a busy main road on the front of the shop.

Cardboard Relief of Mary

Here i was just exploring how i could use bits of rubbish cardboard to represent parts of the body but also trying to begin to explore depth.

Chinese life Model

This was just a doodle i created whilst in life drawing, thought it would be funny to turn Mary into a little chinese lady taking a nap after a long day of work.

Rice Bag- America

Just looking how i could leave messages in public places without standing out. So i picked up this rice bag that i found and sprayed on it, i love the sack as a element, its just great. But also as it had the Islamic crest on it which i felt was a way of suggesting the tension between Islamic extremist and our own governments.
