Over Easter I have been up the Long Mynd in a couple of foot of snow, at the beach in Harlech and then driving through Snowdonia national park. Its been a good Easter, hope everyone else had a good time.

Work - The Projectionists
Poster created for Elenaor De Chastelain Simpson a photographer studying at the University of Cumbria. Her exhibition at the Tyneside Cinema explores the dying art of the cinema projectionist, which took her traveling across the country to document the last few operating. The exhibition runs from the 11th March till the 28th of March upstairs at the Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle.

Work - Underpass
Here are my finished visuals and models of a proposal for a underpass in Carlisle City Centre. The concepts behind my design is the history of Carlisle, which has been divided up into three sections. Starting with Roman Carlisle exploring the timing of key developments such as trade, constructions of the stone fortess and more. The tunnel connecting the entrances explores the story of Mary Queen of Scots travelings from the castle to the cathedral via a tunnel whilst being kept imprisioned in the medieval castle. The underpass finishes with a section of industrial Carlisle, investigating how the city is a regional hub and how it has effected the architecture. Overal I am pleased with this project and looking forward to moving on to something else however will have some new pictures of this soon.

Work in Progress - Pyjama Party
Hello everyone, thought I would give you all an update has been pretty busy and unable to blog in a while. I have currently been working on a range of secret projects from ISTD to a range of freelance and other personal projects, hence why there has been hardy any posts. However soon I will be able to display some of my work on here, once they are signed off. Above is a sneaky peak at a range of identities I am creating for a Pyjama Party with the aims of increasing funding for a hospice charity and to develop my typographic skill. Furthermore I have got a placement coming up so, some exciting stories to be told.

Work - Pattern Swatches
A selection of patterns exploring what it means to be stripes and dots. I did not want to go along the traditional lines of different colour slabs. I aim to explore structure within the patterns, to reflex my interest in architecture. Plus I have entered these into a competition, so will keep you updated on if that develops into anything.
