Meggan's Birthday

Just some simple illustration based on oscar dress designs from designers journals. Surprising how long it actually took to draw these figures, with getting the figures correct then the dress. Also learnt you need to be careful where you spray with spray mount as it can cause you alot of trouble.

Birthday Card + Pin Hole Camera Prototype

I saw a mark 27 camera the other day and just loved how they looked, so i made my own version for a birthday card. But i want to remake this a quater of this size and make it into a pinhole camera or a 35mm camera. Going to design the inside functions over the next couple of weeks then make it.

Ant's Birthday Card

A birthday card i made my friend ant, Using illustrator and photoshop. Im rather happy with how it has came out as i dont normally do work like this = D.

I just love the colours that have come out of the long exposure on this. Just a shame they both came out quite grainy.

Trophy - Gina's Birthday

Gina wanted a trophy for her birthday so i created this and got alot of inspiration from flowers and sails. I quite like it, especially with the touch of black on the edges of the petals.

Lamp

A piece of draining pipe i found a while back, which i thought would make a nice lamp for my university room. I am quite pleased with this and i am going make some speaker stands to fit in with this.

I really like the structure i managed to capture in the picture. This is actually a picture of a tap with some soft lighting on it.

Goodbye Cruel World - Bits and Bobs

Just came home from walking the dog and found how that my house is a place of a battle/murder.I love this one as i think it would make an awesome logo if it has not already been created.
I think this image is just adorable, looks like the bird is all cosy asleep, in my eyes.

I was thinking about making a birthday card, then this pattern appeared which i used in some jelly printing which failed as the jelly hadn't set. So it destroyed the pattern that took all day to do. = /

My fathers story
"May 18th 2009 was a day that changed my life! I was a fit 45 year old very active individual who had just spent the weekend walking in Snowdonia.
I was diagnosed with “Acute Myeloid Leukaemia” out of the blue and was admitted to Ward 23H (Haematology) of the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital where I received treatment. Unfortunately it was soon apparent that my Immune system had collapsed and I would require a full Bone Marrow transplant to survive.
During this time the Doctors & Staff on Ward 23H supported not only me but my whole family through a very traumatic series of events. Due to no immune system I was kept on the ward in isolation for 103 days until I received my Bone marrow transplant from my sister in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
With the wards expertise and support this process was made easier as they took me and my family along a harrowing journey we feel that now we belong to a much bigger family.
In recognition of this I wish to raise as much money as possible for the Ward to support the fight against Leukaemia
I have organised a Snowdon Challenge where a I will lead a controlled assent of Snowdon with a group of nurses from the ward and family and friends of the ward with support of my TA squadron and work colleagues. The route will go up the PYG Track and back down the MINERS track.
This will take place on the weekend of the 26th June 2010 and is 10 months past my Bone marrow transplant and 13 months since I was diagnosed"

Snowdon

Blood in a box, just made me laugh with the complients card stuck in the blood.

A home made flitlery thing i made for the camera, and these two pictures just came out. Really like them.

Polling Booth

Just thought i would upload another image of them but with the improved stand for the ballot box and the finished mind maps on the back of the booths.

Show piece

Had to build another polling booth for my end of year show, still do not like this project but it is coming along better than it was. Shall upload some better photos later but you get the idea.

Pradoe Church

Nice little church in the middle of no where which is opened 24hours a week and year around. They only host a couple of services a year so it is pretty dusty and abandoned inside.
