Camera Obscura

Today we created a Camera Obscura in my university room. Some really nice colour and interesting pattern occurred = ).

New Film Slr

I bought a 60's Praktica 35mm slr off ebay and just tested out how the camera work and if it did work. So quite pleased with all the results. The full album is on my flickr account - More Images

Paper Toys

Miss Holly the worlds biggest fan of any band within 50miles of her. Always ready to pop out the fake cast so she can get to the front of the crowd and hopefully get touched by her gods.
Slutty Newsreporter always gets the first and best interviews and action whenever it happens. Maybe its her legs or someother feature that enables her to do this, it sure isn't brains.
Roger the trainspotter still lives at home with his loving mother. This has turned him to extreme hobbies that involve him avoiding the home for as long as possible. Roger aims to get every train serial number on the British Railway System. I do hope he has enough supplies in his bag!
Birdspotters only get a few moments of excitement a day in there hidy holes, resulting in them modelling coats that have lots of pockets to store objects to keep there hopes up. That bird will come, the book says so.
One of the worlds worst paparazzi, he believes that the celebrities are healthy and beautiful so he doesnt have to be. Never actually taken a picture he just reads crappy celebrity gossip magazines and flashes how big his lens, hoping to make a catch.
We were tasked to create 5 paper toys under a choice subject. I decided to focus mine around semi stalkery people. I am overally pleased with all my designs and so were my tutors.

Logos

Heated Toilet Seat - Warm ShlormFizzy Yoghurt - Milky PopBras for Men - StealthHere are three logos that I made for this project for some weird companies. My favourite one is the 'Warm Shlorm' we created at the top as it is full of energy and warmth. I wish Milky pop had taken on these properties, it would of worked better if the background wasnt black but a burst of energy or something. 62(joint)

Week 4 - Life Drawing

My last session with the life model, really enjoyed the fast abstract images I created at the top. Also really enjoy using tone to create the black and white image.

Invisibility

Had to create two final pieces for my subject of Invisibility, one had to be vector and the other some of source which i chose digital collage. Not completely happy with the layout of the work or the scale which my tutors pointed out. As this piece of work was all about scale of invisibility. 65

Medium Format first time

My diana sadly suffered from some light leaks and made this film go all weird. The film was also out of date by a while which probably also did not help the final quality! Will have to try again though = D.

Life Drawing Part 3

Today we were doing some quick drawings about structure and tone then went on to look at white on black which I really enjoyed. Really like the shapes of the quick drawings on the top, kinda reminds me of the strongbow logo.

Album Cover - Los Campesinos

This project we had to design an album booklet for a given song, my song was You! Me! Dancing! by Los Campesinos. The aim of the project was to show we understood empathy of the subject but also to show what we have learnt so far in the year. My design had to be full of energy and excitement that I feel I hit, however I feel it would of looked better if it was all handmade like the image I created below. This design would of benefited from a cd design as everything builds up to the cd and its abit of a disappointment when you get there. 68

Today we were playing with tone and more structure. I choice to use ink, just because it is great fun = ).
